什么是BASI？

BASI是British Association of Snowsport Instructors，即“英国雪上运动教练协会”的英文缩写。创始于1962年英国苏格兰的阿维莫尔。全球四个最大的滑雪教学体系和培训机构之一。针对滑雪运动，BASI致力于“传递世界级的优秀滑雪技能”。作为教练协会，BSAI致力于培养滑雪教练的激情与自信，启发和推动所有BASI教练员的专业度、责任感和持续性。

BASI总部设立于苏格兰高地的Grantown-on-Spey，设有6个科学且系统的教学分类：Alpine（双板滑雪），Snowboard（单板滑雪），Telemark（屈膝旋转式滑雪），Nordic Ski（北欧式滑雪），Adaptive（有障碍人士滑雪）和Coach（职业竞赛教练）。

截止2015年，BASI在全球有超过6300名教练，在38个不同国家教学和工作。其中包括英国、法国、瑞士、德国、安道尔、意大利、奥地利、美国、澳大利亚、新西兰、加拿大、挪威、日本等，并于2015年8月正式进入中国。 

ISIA International Ski Instructors Association（国际滑雪教练协会），成立于1957年，有30个成员国。BASI作为ISIA的成员，同时也拥有在ISIA的董事会席位。

ISIA每四年一届的Interski大会上，BASI都派出自己的DEMO TEAM参与其中。BASI现任CEO， Andrew Lockbie先生是英国国家队参加索契冬奥会的主教练。在运动学科和研究方面，BASI是苏格兰爱丁堡大学University of Edinburgh的合作伙伴。

从2014年7月14日的第一批赴美营员起，先后组织中国营员到访了美国，加拿大，新西兰，芬兰，英国，新加坡，日本等营地和游学基地，共有来自全国的3000多名营员及家长，先后参与到我们的国际冬、夏令营和海外游、研学中;他们中的绝大多数已就读于欧美的大学，或者正在国内的私立和双语学校就读。
