Some university teachers prefer to record their lectures in advance so that students can familiarize themselves with the material before class. Then teachers can use the class time to help students to practice what they learned while watching or listening.
Do you think this method of watching or listening before class is an effective way for students to learn? Why or why not?

【Today, there is no presentation of a complete essay; instead, we focus on one method of reasoning: explanation. We expound on the logic and use a clear line of reasoning to convince our readers of our opinion.】

中心句: During the preparatory[“准备性的”] time, students may be intrigued by the knowledge they will learn and thus cannot wait to attend the lectures for further probing [原形为probe:“探索/探究”]. 展开explanation:When going through the recordings, students may find something that stimulates their strong curiosity, so they will beeager for the class.
